What is NAD⁺?

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD⁺) is a coenzyme that affects many important biochemical reactions in the human body. In the process of cell metabolism, NAD⁺ plays an important role as a carrier. Besides, the activity of sirtuins responsible for inhibiting ageing in the human body, its activity depends on NAD⁺. Therefore, NAD⁺ levels steadily decline with age, and restoring NAD⁺ levels can promote healthy ageing.

What is NMN?

Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), is a derivative of the B-vitamin niacin, as the precursor of NAD⁺, can slow down the ageing of body by elevating NAD⁺ levels.

Natural sources of NMN

NMN is naturally present in very small amounts in various food sources but a person needs to consume a tremendous amount of food to obtain just 200mg of NMN.

As such, additional supplements may be necessary as food alone is not able to provide a person with sufficient amount of NMN.
